We Recycle Videogames!

Why give your old games away or throw them in the trash?

At Game Over Videogames, we buy and sell all videogame hardware, games, and accessories for all console systems from Atari 2600 to Xbox 360.

Even if the machine no longer works, please consider bringing us the parts that do:  games, wires, controllers, etc. so that we may clean, test, and resell them.

We value our contribution to the environment by making every effort possible to keep videogame equipment out of our landfills.  If we can clean, fix, and resell items, we will, but if not, we sell broken systems and accessories for parts.  this way we limit the amount of videogame related trash considerably.

Also, all excess cardboard, plastic, and wires at any of our locations are taken to be recycled regularly.

Additional Details / Rules:

Hardware and software:  All rounds will be played on Atari Flashback 2 hardware using the Arcade Pong game.  This game does have some glitches in it, but it is the original Atari arcade version and thats why we are using it.  We apologize in advance for any of these glitches that may affect your game, however, due to the crowd size and time restraints of this event, we are unable to replay any rounds so all scores will stand.  This is friendly competition, not the Super Bowl!

Round length = 5 in 5 to Stay Alive:  Due to time constraints, all round will be won by the first person to 5 points, or it will be won by the highest score after 5 minutes of play.

Prizes:  The prizes for the PONG Tournament are:

1st place:  $100 Game Over gift card & Atari Flashback 2 system              w/paddles!

2nd place:   $50 Game Over gift card & Atari PONG keychain.

3rd & 4th place:  $25 Game Over gift cards for each person.

Other rules:  Please always be courteous to all contestants.  Cheering is appropriate and desired by all contestants.  No trash-talking, bullying, or other signs of disrespect to anyone, or you will be disqualified.

These events are intended to be FREE and FUN for the whole family, so please bring your lawn chairs, food, and non-alcoholic drinks, and HAVE FUN!  We want everyone to have a great time, so please dont take them too seriously!

Cameras and other video recording devices are allowed, so as long as you dont disturb the players, feel free to film and create your own videos or albums of these events.  If you make something REALLY cool, please email us at gameovervideogames@msn.com, and we may add YOUR video to our YouTube channel!
